Whether you call it cornhole or bags, this is where you play it in Chicago. Chi-Town Baggers runs weekly leagues at neighborhood bars across the city: two drink-in-hand leagues for a good night out and a competitive league for players who want to chase a title. Come with a partner, sign up a full team, or join as a free agent and we'll pair you up. Every skill level is welcome. Plenty of our players threw their first bag at a league night.

How our leagues work

Every league runs six weeks: five weeks of regular-season play, then playoffs in week six. Matches start at 7 PM. It's $100 per team, paid by the captain when you register. No team? Sign up as a free agent and we'll match you with a partner. Registration runs through LeagueLinq, so you'll get schedules and standings there.

More ways to play

Not ready for a full season? We also run weekly blind draws (show up solo, get a random partner), pop-up tournaments around the city and American Cornhole League (ACL) regionals in the suburbs. Want boards and a host at your party, fundraiser or company outing? Email info@chitownbaggers.com.

League FAQ

  • Same game. Most of the country says cornhole; a lot of Chicago says bags. We answer to both.

  • Yes. Our drink-in-hand leagues are built for first-timers and casual players, and nobody’s checking your form. If you want more of a challenge, SPF’s silver division is a good next step.

  • You throw with a drink in your other hand the whole game. It keeps things casual and evens out the field. Soda counts.

  • No. Sign up as a free agent and we’ll pair you with someone at your level.

  • Your team’s spot for the full six-week season, including playoffs, plus weekly raffle entries and prizes.

  • No. We bring boards and bags. Bring your own if you have a set you like.
